Conker punches in Conker's Bad Fur Day.

Punching is a recurring move in the Conker franchise.

Overview

Conker's Pocket Tales

In Conker's Pocket Tales, punching and stomping are the only two attacks Conker uses before acquiring the Slingshot. Punching is essentially ineffective. To make Conker punch, the player must press the B Button button. If his Slingshot runs out of Conkers, Conker reverts back to using his punch attack.

Conker's Bad Fur Day / Conker: Live & Reloaded

Punching is only used in the Hungover chapter of Conker's Bad Fur Day and Conker: Live & Reloaded. The move is very similar as in Conker's Pocket Tales, as this attack is entirely ineffective. The B Button button also makes Conker throw punches. In the "Panhandled" segment, when Conker acquires the Frying Pan (or Baseball Bat in Live & Reloaded), he no longer throws punches as a regular move. The only other instance in which he punches is gets drunk from too much alcohol from a keg.

Trivia

Punching in the cancelled Twelve Tales: Conker 64.
  • An early photo from Twelve Tales: Conker 64 shows a pumpkin scarecrow (an early form of Birdy) providing Conker with a tutorial on how to punch. Like its final build, Conker's Bad Fur Day, the B Button button is also used for punching.
