Sweet Corn are a group of characters in Conker's Bad Fur Day and its Xbox remake Conker: Live & Reloaded.
Characteristics
Sweet Corn are little kernels of corn that appear inside the Poo Mountain. They are very similar to the Cheese from the Barn Boys chapter. Both are food that Conker must feed to a character, are small and yellow, and have noticeable googly eyes. They share voice clips, as both yell upon noticing Conker, and attempt to flee from him. When Conker picks one of them up, it cries and begs to be put down. In Bad Fur Day both Sweet Corn and Cheese have the same model but with their own texture. Their scream was recycled from Conker's yell in Twelve Tales: Conker 64.[1]
In Poo Mountain during the game's events, a loud, distant voice (later revealed to be The Great Mighty Poo) tells Conker to bring him Sweet Corn. He decides to listen, so he picks up a Sweet Corn, goes to a ledge and throws it into the large centered pool of poo. A cutscene parodying the opening scene of Jaws plays: the Sweet Corn looks around, and suddenly screams as it is dragged and whirled down the pool. Conker must go up the trail and throw two more Sweet Corn off the second ledge, and lastly three more off another ledge even further up the trail. In Live & Reloaded, only a single Sweet Corn is in each three segments of the trail. When the last Sweet Corn is thrown in, it triggers the boss fight against The Great Mighty Poo. The last one cries and begs for release as The Great Mighty Poo rises from the surface, sticking it in his mouth for a false tooth. His other teeth are likely also Sweet Corn. In the second verse of his song, The Great Mighty Poo says that Sweet Corn is the only thing able to pass through his rear.
