The Swamp Fiend is a character in Conker's Pocket Tales.

Biography

The Swamp Fiend is a large set of clawed hands that is the boss and possible protector of the fifth world, Claw Swamp. During the boss battle, the Swamp Fiend hides under the swamp and tries to crush Conker with its large hands. To attack the Swamp Fiend, Conker must stomp on both of its hands. In the Game Boy version, the battle starts with just one hand. When it has been defeated, two more hands come in, followed by two more pairs after each one is defeated. There are a total of seven hands, each taking three stomps to defeat. Unlike the Game Boy Color version, the hands only stick out facing up unless they emerge from below Conker, which is when their grab animation is used. Each time Conker is hit, he loses two Acorn units of health.
