The Helicoptery Tail Thing is an ability in Conker's Bad Fur Day and its Xbox remake, Conker: Live & Reloaded.
Overview
Helicoptery Tail Thing allows Conker to hover in midair for a few seconds, which he can do from spinning his tail around. As he uses the move, Conker slowly descends back to the ground. To utilize this move, Conker must first jump, then the player must press as he hovers in midair.
Conker re-remembers this move in the first chapter, Hungover, after ending up on a ledge just past a body of water. He finds himself stuck, as he cannot cross the gaps. Conker then thinks to himself and suddenly remembers the Helicoptery Tail Thing, which he uses to get across the gaps. He uses this move all throughout his adventure.
