Earthworms,[citation needed] also known as Worms,[1] are large earthworm enemies which appear on the spiraling hill in the Windy chapter of Conker's Bad Fur Day and its Xbox remake, Conker: Live & Reloaded. Earthworms hide in the ground and unexpectedly pop out to attack. Their full body is never shown.
Earthworms have an undead skeleton variant in the Spooky chapter, Skeletal Worms.[1] These enemies act the same as regular Earthworms but have a different appearance. In Conker: Live & Reloaded some of the Skeletal Worms' flesh chunks are attached to them, which implies that they are possibly the same Earthworms from the spiraling hill in Windy.
History
When Conker first walks up the spiraling hill in Windy, a cutscene shows an Earthworm popping out of the ground and sniffing it. The hill is guarded by numerous Earthworms. If an Earthworm bites Conker, it drags him around and throws him at a distance. Conker can only avoid them from using his Helicoptery Tail Thing move either around them or above them. Conker can later ride Mr. Barrel down the spiraling hill and kill the Earthworms down the path.
Conker later encounters the Skeletal Worms in Spooky on the long, curvy pathway outside of Count Batula's Mansion. Since the trail is surrounded by an abyss, Conker must be extra careful around Skeletal Worms, or else is thrown down an abyss. In Live & Reloaded, he can kill them with the Shotgun. After exiting the mansion, Conker must once again utilize Mr. Barrel to cross the path and ride over the Skeletal Worms.
