Catfish are a recurring species in the Conker franchise.
Biography
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Catfish appear in the Bats Tower and Spooky chapters of Conker's Bad Fur Day. Unlike their real world counterpart, the Catfish are a literal hybrid of a cat and a fish. They dwell in lakes and rivers.
Every Catfish is female and wear eyeliner and lipstick for makeup. In Bad Fur Day, every Catfish has a black body and dark purple. In the remake, these were recolored to purple and light pink respectively.
A group of five Catfish appear in the fourth chapter, Bats Tower. Their leader is Mrs. Catfish, who speaks the most compared to the rest, except when one Catfish describes Conker as a "commoner" from being rude. Their only known predator is the Dogfish, who kills and eats each member at the end of the chapter, leaving their fishbones behind for remains.
