Early sketch from design documents

Conker's Other Bad Day was the planned sequel to Conker's Bad Fur Day, and it was under development for the Nintendo GameCube.[1] Most of the known information regarding the game comes from the series creator, Chris Seavor. Due to the Microsoft acquisition, Conker's Other Bad Day was scrapped, and Conker's Bad Fur Day instead was ported as an Xbox remake, Conker: Live & Reloaded. Conker's Other Bad Day did not go far in development, and most of the work went into its concepts and drawings.

The game would have featured numerous movie parodies like its predecessor, and an ending with a bittersweet-type vibe.[2]

Another cancelled Conker series title, Conker: Gettin' Medieval, was a similar attempt at making a follow up to Conker's Bad Fur Day, more specifically Conker: Live & Reloaded. The game itself was planned as a prequel to the multiplayer events. In 2015, a short sequel to Conker's Bad Fur Day was released as DLC on Project Spark, titled Conker's Big Reunion.

Story

According to Chris Seavor, Conker's Other Bad Day would have followed Conker's unsuccessful tenure at being the king. He wastes all his money on beer, hookers, and parties. Eventually, he is thrown into prison, and his goal is to escape from the castle's highest tower.[3] The castle would have been a tutorial level, in a similar vein to Hungover from Conker's Bad Fur Day. In one of the rooms, Conker finds Birdy imprisoned in one room of the tower; Birdy is shown to have grown a beard and is renamed to "Beardy". There are two Gargoyles in an outside part at the end of a bridge span, one holding a boulder above the other.

Berri would have made an appearance as one of the main antagonists. It is revealed that she and Professor Von Kriplespac (known as the "Weasel Professor" in the documents) survived being vacuumed into space from the previous game's Heist chapter. Both her and the Weasel Professor were rescued and revitalized by a passing alien spacecraft, immediately after they were sucked out from the air lock. She and the Professor, who is later revealed to be her henchmen, were provided with extensive technological info. The aliens tell Berri to assist her fellow chipmunks, but instead she and the Weasel Professor go to the moon, where she commands him to develop a new army of Tediz and a secret weapon, the "DeathStarfish".

It is revealed the the alien reconstructed Berri into a cyborg. She makes an organic clone of herself to which she is transplanted in. In the ending, she is revealed to be the "Panther Queen".[4]

At some point during the game, Gregg's childhood would have been revealed, including his reason for hating cats. The player would have assumed control of an evil counterpart of Conker at one point. The Cthulpoo would have been the main antagonist,[2] presumably as a creation from the DeathStarfish.
