K.O. the Kat is a character in the cancelled game, Twelve Tales: Conker 64.
Characteristics
He is a giant purple cat who wields a sledgehammer and wears a striped t-shirt.
Biography
K.O. is the boss of Windmill chapter. When Conker enters K.O.'s lair, he must climb up a pathway, a narrow bridge while avoiding lightning strikes. Eventually Conker reaches a staircase that leads to the top of a tree stump. Knowit is flying above it and tells Conker to attack K.O. from behind or when he isn't looking. Conker must then walk across another narrow bridge to reach a larger tree stump, used as the boss fight arena. During the battle, Conker has to avoid lightning strikes and from K.O. using his sledgehammer on him.
A pre-release photo originating from Rare's defunct site shows Berri and her sidekick Purple Dino battling K.O. the Kat,[1] implying that Berri would have most likely had her own segment where she fights the boss.
Based on the idea that Conker and K.O. fight on an arena, K.O.'s name likely is the typical abbreviation of the term "knockout".
